Maritime high pressure remains over the ma and ri waters into Sunday, yielding tranquil boating weather. Then a cold front sweeps across the waters late Sunday into Monday morning, accompanied by numerous showers and areas of fog, lowering vsby 1 to 3 miles at times. The front moves offshore Monday afternoon, followed by wnw winds, dry weather and good vsby through Tuesday. This tranquil boating weather may linger through much of Wednesday, before a warm front approaches from the southwest late Wednesday into Thursday. |
